Replaying Assassin’s Creed Origins for Platinum Trophey and 100%

Replaying Assassin’s Creed Origins for Platinum Trophey and 100%

Hi all. As you probably guessed from my past post about best Assassin’s Creed games (obviously, in my opinion), I am a HUGE AC franchise fan. As a matter of fact, I love most open world games including The Witcher, GTA, Far Cry, Rage and many more franchises.

Alright, even though Assassin’s Creed Origins didn’t make it into my TOP 5, I decided to play it once again. I was debating wheather or not I shoud replay Odyssey for the 5th time or Origins for the 2nd time. Origins triumphed because it was probably over 2 years that I played Origins the last time. I am pretty sure I completed the story but never went for all achievements (yep, at that time, I was playing with Xbox One, not PS4). This time, I will try to get Platinum trophey + 100%.

So, today was my first day that I am replaying it. It will be interesting to see if I can manage to platinum this game by the end of April as I still need to allocate my time for 30 platinum trophies in 30 days challenge.

Assassin’s Creed Origins progress

So, what have I done so far in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey? Well, levelled up to level 12. What I love about both Origins and Odyssey is that levelling up is super easy and fast. If you are out of one’s level, you can do 1-3 side quests to level up once. Some side quests are as easy as locating someone and killing him/her; while other side quests take a lot longer to complete.

I absolutely love Bayek and if I was to create a new post rankings top 5 Assassin’s Creed protagonists, Bayek would certainly be there in TOP 5. So I left my beloved Siwa and went to look for Aya. I reached her and completed the first 5 targets.

Trophies wise – earned like 3 or so. The First Steps, I am getting started, The Festival. All of these were quite quick and sort of story related (except The Festival as you need to do a side quest).

How I will handle the tropheys

What I am fearing the most is Old Habits trophy as it requires completing all the location in Egypt (except the DLC worlds). So my plan of attack is completing all the main quests and Seven Farmers side quest (for the trophy). If I am not level 40-45, do more side quests until I am. Kill war dragons (I mean elephants), do all the other misc trophies except Old Habits and any other that is tied with this trophy (like compelting all 12 stone circles, completing several underwater locations, etc …).

Then start DLCs. Get all trophies for THe Hidden Ones DLC, then The Curse of the Pharaohs and finally the discovery tour. At that point I should easily be level 55 if not higher (if possible). Then I will turn off enemy auto-level so everyone who’s low level by default will be low level. Then finally complete all of the locations.

This whole platinum trophey and 100% shouldn’t take more than 70 hours (I assume). Although I spent 100 hours on AC Odyssey to get all 100% achievements on Stadia. I think I will be replaying Odyssey on PS4 throughout May and see if I can platinum trophey + 100% tropheys. I mean, I already did it on Stadia so I know I can … but I guess as long as the lockdown is still on, I will have a lot of time for games.
